A little about my style…

I am a natural light lifestyle photographer.  What does that mean?  That means I try to use natural light whenever possible.  It is the most flattering light, and I do my best to try to make you look fabulous!  As a lifestyle photographer, I try to capture the essence that is you, your child, and/or your family.  A mischievous smile, a coy grin, a deep pensieve look, a pout… all are little moments that allow me to capture the true essence of my subject.  Be prepared because capturing you sometimes requires me to get down in the dirt, way up above you, and sometimes things may seem a little crazy… but it’s all about getting “the shot” and I’ll do whatever it takes!   I have been working with children for years, and pride myself on my ability to relate to children.  I ask parents to help when asked, but mostly to just sit back and watch me do the work!

Session

I am also on-location, which means we set a location ahead of time and shoot there.  A great park, your home, the child’s bedroom, all can be perfect backdrops!  It’s all about keeping your child comfortable, that’s when I get my best results!  You’ll never hear me say “Say Cheese!” or “Smile for the camera!”.  I do my best to get your child happy in a natural state and not forcing grins.

I offer newborn sessions in my studio as well as mini sessions at the studio location.

What to wear?  I ask you to avoid large logos and character clothing.  Clothes with textures look great on camera:  jeans, sweaters, scarves, cool hats.  Shirts with softer patterns, long sleeves rolled up, cool shoes all look great!  No “white shirt and khaki’s” needed!  If we’re photographing your family clothes with similar hues that look good together is great, no matching required.

You will be asked to sign a model release/copyright for each person being photographed that day.  Please no other cameras or video cameras are allowed.  Let me do the work!

If you need to reschedule due to illness or weather, let’s try to do that as early as possible and your retainer is applied toward the rescheduled date.

I am located in West Bradenton.  Your session fee includes the areas of:  Bradenton, Palmetto, Ellenton, and Sarasota.   If you live outside of that area, there will be an additional travel fee.

Contact me at JenniferMauren@gmail.com for access to my private client website full of session details when you decide to book your session with me.  I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you.

JILL DYEApril 22, 2009 - 6:48 am

I was just wondering if you do small weddings? I am getting married on Anna Maria Island on July 31. There will be about 20 people.

Thanks,
Jill

Hi Jennifer, I found you on facebook and love your shots. Like Jill above, I am getting married on Anna Maria June 24th, and wondered if you do small wedding. Since you do not, can you recommend someone that uses natural light like you do? Could I talk you into doing our wedding by chance?! :) Thanks for your help. Courtenay
