Seriously.  I am so blessed.  There is no way I could list all of my blessings in this post, so we’ll just focus on the blessing of this family I got to photograph.  Fun family.  Beautiful family.  Spunky (and not to mention ADORABLE) kids.  I pray this is just the first of many sessions with them.  Oh, and the eyes on these kids.  They just melt me.  First up was big sis J.  Mom warned me she can be a pistol, but with looks like this, she needs some spunk!

Then is little bro D.  He tries to act all shy…

but, really, he’s a super happy 7 month old!

I really did have a great time, D family!!

Phew!  It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve done one of these!

1)  Just got in from a FABULOUS family session.  Loved it.  Happy family, happy kids, fun family.  I want to clone this family so I can shoot people like this all of the time.  I’m so blessed with my clients.  So young, fresh, fun, exciting, and not to mention beautiful!

2) I got a phone call this morning that mom’s EKG was normal and she qualifies for a clinical trial at Moffitt Cancer Center!  YAY!!  She has a couple spots on her lungs that are being resistant to certain chemo, so we’re trying something new on it.  Praying for amazing results!!

3) I need a pedicure in the worst way.  In true “clutz” style, I stubbed by toes this morning and broke a couple nails.  I need some pretty polish to distract from the purple nail that will surely develop here shortly!

4) I will be making an announcement later this weekend regarding my next special and holidays sessions!  Stay tuned!!

5) In cleaning off my hard drive this week I found a couple photos of Carter from a while back.  These are very “typical” Carter not looking at the camera, but I love them anyway b/c they are my handsome boy!!

I met up with this great family the other evening on Siesta Key.  LOVE Siesta Key!  Especially in the warmth of just before sunset.  The light is DIVINE.  Just scrumptious.  This family was a trip and we laughed a lot during our session… that’s just the way I like it!!

I know, I know, it’s 100 degrees outside and I’m already dreaming of sweaters, hot cocoa, and christmas trees!  It’s my favorite time of the year, what can I say?  It is not too early to book your holiday sessions!  In the next week I’ll be posting more details on my holiday specials!  Remember, by the time we book a session, wait for the gallery, order prints, etc it can take upwards of weeks to get everything back to you, it can drag out the process, so booking now is NOT too early!  I plan to offer my holiday specials in the month of September and October and maybe the first week of November.

So, think about how great a coffee table book, enlargement, or storyboard would be for your loved ones!  Also, we can get those holiday cards done and ready to go out in style and on time!

Phew!  Well, one thing is for sure, these kids had a blast at our session!  They had me running all over the place.  The big brother C is sure to be a director.  He was pointing out great “cool” shots all over the location!!  But, don’t think I’m complaining I love it when kids are excited about a session!!  I love that excitement in their eyes!  You can’t fake that!!

Here’s your sneak peek guys!!

You probably remember the gorgeous maternity I posted about back at the beginning of June.  Well, their little man N arrived and I met up with them for their newborn session.  N was not interested in sleeping that day.  He did sack out for a few minutes in the swing, but as soon as you took him out he was wide awake!  He’s a precious little man who is well loved, that’s for sure!!

I love details of babies, look at those toes!  Do you not just want to munch them up!!!

So, Thursday I got to meet up with Baby B and his family.  Holy cuteness.  B is the little brother of 2 adorable sisters.  I had the best time with them.   When I got there he had been wide awake, but we got him good and sleepy and I just love the results!  I just adore newborns!!!

That word pretty much sums it up right there.  I should’ve blogged about 3-4 sessions this week, and I just haven’t.  I’m so sorry.

I will post however that I got to get together with my cousin Kim (who is like my sister) and her family, her mother Peggy (my godmother) and her husband Scott, my grandparents (aka Mema and Grandaddy) , my other cousin Nicole (also like a sister) another Aunt Ellen and Uncle Ray and my mom today.  I had the best day.  I got to see my mom play with my little boy.  I got to see her read him books.  I got to see her wake up from a nap to the sounds of her grandson in the room.  Totally awesome. You may see that list of people and say that sounds like a big gathering.  Psshh.  That ain’t nothing.  That was a mild little get together by Richelieu standards!!  I come from a big family and adore it!!  We’re all very close though, and I adore that even more!
So, I apologize to my clients waiting on their sneak peeks!  I’ll get them up asap!  I promise!!

Friday morning I met up with this fabulous family.  We had to reschedule due to rain, and had a hard time scheduling b/c D (the handsome dude) is so super busy and talented himself.  He’s on the all star team playing left field, so that’s a big time committment for them.  Good luck with your games, D!!  We had plenty of laughs, swatted plenty of bugs, and came away with plenty of photos to proof!!  LOL!

This beautiful girl B, and I have tried to do these headshots a number of times.  We met up last Wed to try again.  Anyone remember last Wednesday?  The day of the torrential down pours?  Yeah, that one.  The rains were that of something out of a movie starring Charlton Heston.  What I’m saying is that the rain was awful and there was no light.  Funny thing, cameras like light!  LOL!  So we met up the next morning (when the sun shone for literally an hour) to shoot a couple more.  Here are a few!
